the days of blogs are dead.... partly thanks to us growing up, and partly to the popularity of facebook...
only when I look back through these pages do I (cringe and) realise that I've done a lot of things over the past few years.
There's a lot of things too that's happened since the last update...

- The new year came around, and I went on my South East Asia trip. It was great. Just the thing I needed before I started full time work.

- I started full time work in Feb. It's going ok.

- I'm starting to feel as though I'm getting control of my life again. Uni seemed to have sucked it out of me, but after finishing, I'm starting to enjoy it more.

- I graduate in two weeks. Looking very forward to it. It's been a long time coming.

- Extreme can now be added into my vocabulary.  I went canyoning, white water rafting, and skydiving in the space of less than two months.  Skydiving was the best out of all of them, and I would do it again, if it wasn't so expensive.

- I went to the Matchbox Twenty concert. It was great. I'm glad I forked out the money to go.

- Much to my surprise, I hear Sara Bareilles is crawling up the Australian Singles Charts. I had no idea... I've only ever heard her twice on the radio.  Even though I don't know her, I'm still happy for her success. Although I still prefer her first album over the new one.

- I keep saying I want to save money and my annual leave, so I can plan for a big holiday in two years time... but it's not really working.  My next holiday is to Japan, at the end of the year. This is probably the longest time in advance I've booked for a holiday.

- I still need to prioritise my time. I need to learn how to cook, clean my room, clean my pc, spend time with family and friends, exercise, and find a hobby.

- I didn't realise people (one or two) read this thing or care. But I'm still sticking to my decision not to blog regularly. Sorry. Hope you understand.

- I'm starting to feel happy again :)

- I'm still not blogging - although there are a few exceptions.

- Songs currently on heavy rotation:
       - Whatever is on the radio, don't really love any songs that's out

- TV Guilty Pleasures:
        - No new TV episodes to get hooked on due to the Holiday season, and writers' strike.  But I did get back my Gilmore Girls dvd sets, so that's been on heavy rotation.

- I got that elusive Grad job offer, much to my surprise. I have a new "two year" plan, and I'm ok with that.

- Biggest relief: confirmation that I have finished.

- Back to disliking Mika.

- Back to liking Matchbox Twenty, although feeling very ripped off with having to pay $130 for a concert ticket. Wondering if they will ever do that private concert they cancelled four years ago. 

- Glad that Natalie won Australian Idol. Told you so! ;)

- I bought the new Jamie Oliver book. I still have yet to cook something from it.

- I am going travelling to some parts of South East Asia for 2.5 weeks starting on the 1st January.

- That is all for now.

- I've stopped blogging, with the exception of right now. Funny  how you get onto a new fad, and you stop with the old. You stop with the new fad, and you get back to the old. Damn fads.

- Still looking for that elusive Graduate job offer, although truth be told I'm not really looking all that hard. Not really concern about it though, since I have my "two year" plan. If I do get that offer, I have to put the plan on the backburner, which saddens me.

- Biggest concern: not finishing

- Taken by suprise by the quality of Mika's album - just goes to show not to judge an artist by their video clips or the first two singles they release.

- Disappointed by Matchbox Twenty's six new songs, except for the first single. Again do not judge an artist based on their single.

- Current weird celebrity crush - Dicko from Aus Idol. Although, with the more air time or time he spends absorbing Mark Holden's "wit" he receives on AI this season, his appeal declines.  And Natalie from Aus Idol, just for the sole reason that she reminds me of Sara B.
My tip for the final two: Matt and Natalie. With Ben the dark horse.

- I normally dislike Jamie Oliver's cooking, but the food he cooks on his new show looks pretty good, that I'm considering buying his book.

- I miss being free. I can't wait to travel again.

which is a shame really because it was good for me to keep a track of what i've done, and also see what other people were up to...
oh well.. time to move on...

..sorry it's a slow, cold, wet Friday night... and I haven't eaten a thing since breakfast..

hey, i got suckered into joining up to facebook and myspace and those online thingos because i wanted to see people's photos.. so don't give me the whole "i don't want to have to sign up to those online thingos just to see your photos.." speech..

... just watching those new Monday night game shows...
... watched a bit of "The Rich List" where I saw a guy named Jamie (i think that was his name.. i've forgotten now) win $75 000 with some lady...
They are the champs tonight and are back to play the game next week.
Switched over to another channel to checkout the other game show "1 vs 100"....

The guy who was playing looks exactly like Jamie.. but appears to be a few weeks older and richer.. maybe done a bit of shopping recently... maybe on ear piercings?
wait a sec, I think it's the same guy...

yes, it's the same guy...
what are the odds of that...
there are many serial game show contestants...
but both networks playing the episode with him in it on both nights...
it was quite funny...
but not funny enough for me to stick around and watch to see if he won more money...

but judging from this post, maybe it would've been better if i didn't post anything at all...
oh well too late now...
